In addition to sponsoring JFW 2025 with a professional hairdo team along with the best range of hair care and styling products for all fashion shows held, TRESemmé also provides so many hairstyle inspirations that can enhance the appearance and confidence of Indonesian women as they conquer the runway in their lives. One of them is through the fashion show themed “Unlock Million Hairstyles, Own Million Runways” collaborated with two talented young designers from Indonesia: Ernesto Abram and Rinda Salmun.
The runway is often identified as being part of the glamorous world, which is only addresed for top models so they can exude their charm through designer pieces and “perfect” looks. In fact, quoting from world fashion icon Coco Chanel, “Life is a fashion show, and the world is the runway”; the world is a runway for all women to show off their potential and uniqueness.
Ari Astuti, Head of Marketing TRESemmé Indonesia, familiarly called Tutut, said: “In their daily lives, every woman has her own runway. On the street corner, in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city, all places can be a runway to express themselves, show their identity, and tell their unique stories. One of the confidence boosters is beautifully styled hair. Every woman can explore a variety of hair styles and looks that can bring out their own style in expressing themselves whenever and wherever they are.”
A beautiful hairdo to conquer the runway can be easily had through professionally formulated hair care and styling products for maximum results. Therefore, TRESemmé presents quality products, which are widely trusted and used by renowned hairdressers around the world. With the Salon Bond Building System containing Keratin Bond+; the TRESemmé Hair Care Collection and TRESemmé Styling Collection products are able to nourish the deepest layers of hair, repair and protect hair that is often styled or colored to produce soft hair that is runway ready – just like salon quality.
“TRESemmé believes that with beautiful hair, women every day can have the opportunity to conquer their runway, seize the chances, inspire others, and prove their potential to the world. As a form of support, some time ago, TRESemmé, together with Indonesia's top model, Ayu Gani, invited Indonesian women to appear confident and conquer their own runways; they propose doing this by holding an inclusive model search audition as an opportunity to appear as a professional models on the JFW 2025 runway,” continued Tutut.
Uniquely, this model search audition is very inclusive, that all women are free to apply without any height and weight restrictions or previous modeling experience requirements. More than 300 women registered for the offline and online auditions, and 19 of them were selected for a two-day intensive modeling class in Jakarta and Yogyakarta with Ayu Gani and leading Fashion Show Mentor, Panca Makmun.
As a highlight, at JFW 2025, TRESemmé will present a fashion show themed “Unlock Million Hairstyles, Own Million Runways”, in collaboration with two talented young designers from Indonesia: Ernesto Abram (whose work has been featured on prestigious stages such as JF3 Fashion Festival 2023 and Hong Kong Fashion Week); and Rinda Salmun (award winner at several global fashion events, such as Fashion Mavericks during London Fashion Week).
Six models selected from the TRESemmé model search audition with Ayu Gani will appear in this fashion show accompanied by several fashionable figures such as Amanda Rawles and Salma Kyana to present the latest collections from Ernesto Abram and Rinda Salmun.
Ernesto Abram discussed this: “In JFW 2025, the 20 special collections themed ‘Radiant Rendezvous’ that I presented were inspired by the power of black as the hair color of the majority of Indonesian women. This color became the main color paired with other colors in the TRESemmé logo. With elegant, timeless, bold design lines and modern classics, through this collection I showcase my signature designs, which are rich in texture and creative fabric processing, as well as details with a high level of intricacy - combined with hand beading from the skillful hands of Indonesian women at Rumah Mode Ernesto Abram.”
Meanwhile, Rinda Salmun talked about her fashion pieces: “With the theme ‘Liberation’, through this collection I wanted to ‘talk’ about the concept of liberation, including from all the various limitations placed on women. This concept is translated through punk designs and poppies as a symbol of freedom. In addition, the play of contrasting elements with juxtaposition pieces between masculine and feminine remains a hallmark of my design character.”
“Last but not least, through this collection, I again maximize the issue of textile waste and create classic yet modern tailoring garments. I hope this collection can promote slow, circular, responsible, ethical fashion that emphasizes a lower carbon footprint and is made with care and compassion.”
The power of Ernesto and Rinda's designs combine perfectly with a variety of stunning hairstyles for the latest hairstyling trends that all women can easily follow on a daily basis using the TRESemmé product range.
“In the end, the whole series of TRESemmé activities with JFW 2025 wants to inspire and provide opportunities for every Indonesian woman, without exception, to conquer their own runways, anytime and anywhere, with stunning hair,” Tutut concluded.
