Unilever Indonesia Announces Agreement to Divest Tea Business Under the SariWangi Brand

Unilever Indonesia today announced that it has entered into an agreement to divest its tea business in Indonesia, under SariWangi brand to PT Savoria Kreasi Rasa, a fast-growing local FMCG group.

The proposed divestment forms part of Unilever’s ongoing portfolio optimisation strategy, as the Company continues to focus on fewer, bigger and more scalable categories to support sustainable long-term value creation.

Unilever Indonesia acquired SariWangi in 1989, pioneering tea bags in Indonesia. Since then, SariWangi has become a trusted household name, known for quality, innovation, and strong consumer loyalty.

The completion of the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions. Completion is expected sometime in Half 1, 2026.
