Unilever Indonesia Appoints Hendri Widiarta as Director

PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (“the Company”) today announced the appointment of Hendri Widiarta as Director, following approval by shareholders at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) held at its head office in BSD, Tangerang.

The announcement coincided with the Company’s Public Expose, where it reported steady financial performance for the first half of 2025 and reaffirmed its commitment to growth driven by innovation, disciplined execution, and strengthened talent capability.

In the first half of 2025, the Company reported net sales of IDR 18.2 trillion and a net profit of IDR 2.2 trillion, representing a year-on-year decline due to a reset across categories and channels. However, it demonstrated sequential improvement compared to the second half of 2024, signalling a resumption of growth.

Appointment of New Director

An Indonesian national, Hendri Widiarta brings more than 28 years of Human Resources leadership across diverse industries. His career spans senior roles at the national, regional, and global levels, with a consistent focus on driving culture, organizational transformation, and strategic talent development.

Most recently, Hendri served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources, APAC at B. Braun, a global medical and pharmaceutical device company headquartered in Germany with operations in more than 60 countries. In this capacity, he led HR for 17,000 employees across Asia Pacific, embedding people strategy as a key enabler of business performance.

Earlier in his career, he held senior HR leadership roles at SC Johnson, the RGE Group (APRIL, Pacific Oil & Gas), and PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk, underscoring his deep expertise in people capability building and organizational transformation.

Hendri succeeds Willy Saelan, who served as Director since 2015 and concludes a distinguished 30-year career with Unilever Indonesia, marked by enduring contributions to its culture, leadership pipeline, and people strategy.
